New Transrotor Scala Turntable unveiled at Vienna High End
We recently attended the Vienna high end show where Transrotor revealed their latest stunning design – the Scala turntable.
This has similarities to the Transrotor Max model with some added and upgraded new features – flexibility, built in upgradability and vibration damping options.
The Scala is designed from the outset, and comes assembled with, two tonearm boards, with adjustable mountings to accept 9 or 12 Inch Tonearms.
This flexible approach can be used to mount a record cleaning brush or for mounting a second tonearm
Transrotor realised that many turntables do not sit on dedicated HiFi Racks, so they have designed this model with precision damping incorporated into its feet, which reduce vibrations.
There will also be a separate Isolation Plinth available, with additional damping, to improve matters further.
We didn’t get to hear it yet, but we know to expect from the Transrotor stable, but even just to look at…. it really is a thing of beauty with the impeccable engineering quality that is synonymous with the Transrotor brand.
Scala is available soon, prices to be confirmed, watch this space for more news and reviews.
