Years ago, the design was abandoned due to technical limitations. But recently, Head of Production Ben revisited the concept and discovered its untapped potential for digital streaming.
Using unconventional materials originally intended for a different application, the re-engineered cable marks a bold new direction. The revived design integrates research from the earlier project, now adapted to suit the demands of high-performance network audio.
The nickname Plato’s Ghost reflects both its philosophical roots and Tellurium Q’s commitment to sonic purity. Drawing inspiration from Plato’s idea of ideal forms, it represents the pursuit of a perfect sound — and the belief that even abandoned ideas can lead to meaningful breakthroughs.
