The team over at HiFi Pig took a detailed look at the new Tellurium Q Silver III range, focusing on both the loudspeaker cables and newly introduced interconnects. As with all Tellurium Q designs, technical specifics remain closely guarded, allowing the reviewer to approach the cables purely from a listening perspective.
The review highlights a surprisingly significant improvement over the previous Silver II, which were already one of our favourties! – particularly in clarity, separation and musical coherence. The Silver III is described as delivering greater insight into recordings, with enhanced detail retrieval, tighter transients and a more open, precise soundstage.
Notably, they found the cables capable of revealing subtle musical nuances — from delicate piano harmonics to improved instrumental placement and timing. Compared to alternatives, the Silver III struck a strong balance between detail and musicality, avoiding harshness while remaining vivid and engaging.
HiFi Pig conclude that Tellurium Q has achieved something “quite extraordinary” with the Silver III, awarding the range a full Five Hearts and recommending it as a compelling option for those seeking high performance without stepping up to the Ultra series
