Tellurium Q Ultra Silver II Wins Strong Praise in HiFi+ Review

HiFi+ magazine has given a highly positive verdict on Tellurium Q’s new Ultra Silver II cables, describing them as a clear advance over their predecessors. The updated line includes both loudspeaker and XLR interconnect cables, which outwardly resemble the originals but sound “even less forced and uncolored” while delivering greater musical insight.

Tellurium Q is famously discreet about its cable design, offering no technical white papers or exotic material claims. Instead, the company maintains that its approach focuses on reducing phase distortion, allowing systems to reveal music more naturally. As HiFi+ put it, “the clean, ultra-detailed sound remains, but the new Ultra Silver II is even cleaner and more direct in its approach.”

The review praised the cables’ balance across the frequency range: shimmering treble, deep and sinuous bass, and an expressive midrange that captures “the rolling off of a reverb tail” with precision. Both interconnects and speaker cables share a consistent sonic signature, excelling across genres from Wagner to K-Pop.

HiFi+ concluded that Ultra Silver II offers “greater clarity and differentiation between instruments” without a price increase. The verdict: if your system can handle the precision, these cables justify the upgrade—and may leave you craving more.
