Back after a hiatus of three years, this year the HiFi News High End Show promises to be bigger and better than ever before. The organiser tells us that advance booking is already substantially higher than this time in 2019. The High End show remains a favourite of ours and is always well attended, the location at Ascot is roomier with more space in the corridors, a less convoluted layout and room to chat without interrupting listening or blocking the corridors.
We are very happy to announce that we will be exhibiting in two rooms this year, each showcasing an amazing system from our thoroughbred stable (well it is Ascot . . . ). We have booked rooms 512 and 513 on level five, near the lifts and stairs at Core C. We always aim to get a great sound, and although this can be quite a challenge in show conditions our systems are always well attended and we receive great feedback. We aim to demonstrate a number of new products for their first UK public show.
Room 512 – Soulnote Electronics and FinkTeam Speakers
Soulnote have very much taken their own route in electronics design and implementation, rejecting cold hard static measurement principles and instead focusing on integration and purity in the time domain. Using a number of techniques their approach works wonders and results in a refreshingly delicate (and feisty where necessary!), pure, direct and emotional sound quality.
FinkTeam speakers are quickly gathering a very strong reputation too, their dynamic, agile, spacious, and aerated qualities which really communicate, getting to the heart of music. Karl-Heinz Fink and his consultancy company have spent serious amounts of time developing their range, having years of experience in the domain.
These two brands sound wonderful together, and well worth spending some time with. We are really looking forward to this and this room will doubtless will be extremely popular.
In addition we are delighted and honoured to confirm that Karl-Heinz Fink from FinkTeam / Epos Loudspeakers, and Hideki Kato and Yuhsuke Iwahashi from Soulnote will be in attendance.

Room 513 – T+A, Taiko Audio
Our other room will feature T+A electronics and speakers along with the inimitable Taiko Audio’s SGM Extreme Music Server.
The Taiko Audio SGM shouldn’t need any further introduction by now. Loved by audiophiles and reviewers internationally, this is possibly the finest streamer / server currently available.
Similarly T+A is now well known in the UK and continues to beguile and enthuse music lovers worldwide, to quote T+A;
“Actually we’re Scientists…because T+A stands for Theory and Application in the field of audio technology. That means that we conceive, refine and manufacture Hi-Fi components of the very highest quality, with the aim of developing consummate High-End products for our customers all over the world.
We don’t build mass products, we build acoustic treasures, we build heartbeats, goosebumps and enthusiasm.”
